Where did the name 'Mint for Hue' come from?
With my mission statement in mind, I knew right away that everything I create is completely custom, designs you cannot get anywhere else, and designs that will be solely created per each individual or business and never recycled for other clients. I started listing off words and phrases that related to these ideas filling an entire piece of paper with words such as custom, unique, designs only for you, created for you, designed for you, meant for you…Then it just hit me. Mint. Mint! This color was already used throughout my website design so I went with it. I took “meant for you” and changed it to “mint for you”. Then to push the envelope a bit farther, I played on the sound of “you” changing it to “hue” to pull in an artistic element. And that’s how the name Mint for Hue was born. You can read more about this brand naming process here.

What kind of design packages do you offer?
I currently offer three different packages for wedding stationery that vary in format, complexity, and formality. However, if these packages aren’t exactly what you are looking for, I can create a custom package made just for you and your specific needs. Whether you are needing a complete wedding invitation suite with coordinating programs and escort cards, or you are simply looking for Save the Dates, I’ll create a package that fits your needs perfectly. We’ll get straight to the point. You tell me what you want, need, don’t want, and don’t need, and I’ll create a custom package unique to you. The same goes for business branding. I have three unique packages that range in size and complexity, from a simple logo design package to a complete stationery branding collection. Again, we can totally tweak the package you select to fit your needs specifically, or create a custom package from scratch.

How long does it take to design a custom package?
Feel free to check out my Process Page. Once we meet and the paperwork is complete, it all depends on how clear your vision is, the complexity of the design, how many revisions are needed along the way, and how speedy our communication is. Once your project is approved, printing and/or file packaging can take 1 to 3 weeks.

Do you take on other design jobs besides wedding stationery and business branding?
I certainly do! With over 5 years of experience in the corporate job world and freelance design, I am confident I can help you with your design needs. Whether you are interested in custom wall prints or party invitations, business cards and letterheads, print advertisements or brochures, social medial and web graphics, I love hearing what you’ve been dreaming up. I welcome you to send me an Email so we can discuss the specifics!

What are your payment policies and methods accepted?
Mint for Hue accepts payments by Paypal, Cash, or Check. When you book with MFH, you are required to pay the non-refundable Package Design Fee. This non-refundable retainer fee is MFH’s way of securing your spot in my calendar. The final half, the Print Fees or File Packaging Fees, must be paid in full before any final files are printed and/or delivered.

What makes Mint for Hue different from others?
I launched Mint for Hue with the intentions that brides and business owners do not have to settle for template, cookie-cutter design. Every package that I create is totally custom since your story is unique in it’s own way. Shouldn’t your wedding or your business be the same? I also take on a limited amount of clients so that every single person I work with gets exactly what they are looking for. I choose quality over quantity to make sure that I’m not spread too thinly, that I am able to give undivided attention to every single client and project that I book. This is key to producing successful, quality work.
